BBM at Safe Heart in Israel

On September 6, 2024, over 60 therapists gathered for an introductory Breath-Body-Mind (BBM) session led by Israeli teacher Yifat Peres. This event took place in the wake of the tragic Nova Music Festival massacre on October 7, 2023, where the Safe Heart mental health organization has been providing essential support to survivors. During the session, Yifat demonstrated gentle movements paired with coherent breathing techniques, specifically designed to aid in healing from trauma. Participants expressed their appreciation for the practices, recognizing their potential to assist both their clients and themselves in managing stress and emotional distress. The positive feedback received underscores a collective interest in further training opportunities in BBM techniques.
