Fundamentals Course in Hebrew

16, 17, 23, 24, June 2026 (Tues. & Weds.)
18:00 - 21:00 (11am - 2pm ET)

• Led by senior BBM Teacher Shira Gordon.

• Lectures and demonstrations in English will have simultaneous translation in Hebrew. Senior Israeli teachers will lead the small groups and teach in Hebrew.

• Presentations and practices by Richard P. Brown, MD & Patricia L. Gerbarg, MD.

• We highly recommend attending a weekly BBM practice session (45 - 60 minutes) for six weeks following this course.

• This BBM Course and follow-up sessions fulfill the prerequisite for BBM Level 1 Teacher Training.

• The course is tuition-free for Israelis living in Israel. But requires a non-refundable $36 registration fee.

• The course is $350 for participants outside of Israel.

• Who is BBM for?

  BBM is ideal for anyone including yoga teachers and practitioners, psychologists, therapists, nurses, doctors, schoolteachers, first responders, relief workers, NGOs, and administrators. Benefits of Breath-Body-Mind have been shown in healthcare practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, veterans, active-duty military, research studies, and survivors of disasters.

• How does it work?

  Designed to activate mind-body communication pathways, raise energy, regulate mood, enhance performance, reduce inflammation, and help dissolve pain; this training is for anyone who wishes to improve their stress resilience, physical health, and general well-being.

• What can I expect?

  In the 4-day course you will learn breathing techniques proven to relieve stress and improve mood, mental focus, and performance. Positive effects have been experienced by individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD, cancer, and other medical conditions. Many people who have practiced these techniques say that they feel transformed, and they never would have imagined that something so simple could be so effective.

• What will I learn?

  Through movement, breathing, and relaxation techniques, you'll learn to:

  • Increase your stress resilience and renew your energy.

  • Reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

  • Increase lung capacity, oxygenation, and cardio-respiratory health.

• Daily schedule

  Each 3-hour session is divided as follows:

  • 18:00 - 18:50 Course + 10 minutes break.

  • 19:00 - 19:50 Course + 10 minutes break.

  • 20:00 - 21:00: Course
