Philip Bane
Philip Bane is a strategic advisor and board director focused on helping mission-driven organizations strengthen strategy, scale impact, and achieve long-term financial sustainability. His current advisory focus includes the use of AI and digital platforms to enhance content creation, distribution, and cross-channel engagement for nonprofits and social impact initiatives.
Previously, Philip held senior leadership roles spanning technology, infrastructure, and civic innovation, including Managing Director of the Smart Cities Council, where he helped scale global programs in urban resilience, sustainability, and livability, and Director of Digital Twins and Smart Cities at Parsons Corporation, leading teams developing AI, simulation, and data-driven solutions for climate and social resilience. Earlier in his career, he served as EVP at TopQuadrant and President of Renomics Corporation, working on semantic data systems and sustainable infrastructure platforms. He holds a JD from William & Mary Law School, an LLM in Tax from George Washington University, and a BA from the University of Virginia, and brings additional experience as a U.S. Army Ranger-qualified officer, certified yoga instructor, and frequent speaker on systems thinking, technology, and social impact.
